The 2011 Rock Fish season finished strong with great numbers of Rock Fish & Lingcod being caught.
The jackpot fish on the last day of the season came down to three contenders. Two Halibut and a Ling Cod were within ounces of each other. The winner was a 17.2 lb. Halibut caught by Gary Anderson of Cambria. Runners up were Austin Law, 15 years old of Morro Bay, CA with 16 lb. 15 oz. Halibut & Dave Castillo of Delano, CA., with a 16 lb. 12 oz. Ling Cod.

Just wanted to let you know that I (and a few coworkers) tried to buy your dealsaver fishing coupon and the website would not let us complete the order. It kept timing out on us. We tried for an entire day with no luck. coats_joe@yahoo.com

I love the new site guys. When are you going to make a facebook page? Im following you on twitter. The closest thing to actually fishing, is reading and seeing pictures of other people fishing.

Sure would be nice if you offered coupons on your new website :)

California Grey Whale migration is in full swing! The Princess took out 27 Whale Watchers on 1/1/12 and had great success. Five miles from the harbor we spotted the first of many of the Greys heading south to Baja to birth their calves. In two hours time, we had at least 20 sightings! The weather was beautiful and great pictures were taken! We'll try to post them up to the website (send 'em in to Virgs email & we'll post 'em!)
Other wildlife sightings consisted of Sea Otters, California Sea Lions and many of the indigenous birds.
